The Shehnai has been an integral part of Indian culture for
centuries. Any special occasion would begin with the Shehnai. The
authentic sounds create that traditional feel, the very word Shehnai is
associated with celebrations and happiness.
To find a good Shehnai player or a Shehnai teacher is a rarity as
instruments have evolved. This is why Laghan Entertainment after
constant requests for the Shehnai took the initiative to develop the
Shehnai music and train Western oboe players to be able to create the
authentic sounds of the Shehnai.
The Western Oboe which sounds and looks like the Shehnai is perfect
for the grand entrance of the bride or the wedding ceremony.
My self Anand, (shehanai player) we have experience of around 80
years in this industry. We having a shehanai party for marriage purpose,
all kind of parties, also for same purpose I have all kind of
instrument, & "A" Grade artists who can accompany with shehanai or solo
classical music, music, light music & film songs. (Instrumental) we are
