Visit by Coast Guard Ship: ‘Kasturbaghandi’, a coast guard ship was opened to the public for a day amid tight security. The ship was anchored at the Beypore port. Facilities were also made to create awareness among the public on the functioning of the coastguards.
Other than the above major events, there were a lot other comparatively smaller, smaller only in the sense of duration not in their entertainment value such as road shows, cultural programmes, rides on camel, elephant and horse magic theme park, musical nights, mimics parade etc.
