IIM-K Programme for non-finance professionals : Kozhikode, Jan 27: The Indian Institute of Management-Kozhikode (IIM-K) would conduct a management development programme (MDP) on ‘finance insights for non-finance professionals’, from February 2 to 4.

Short-term course on energy conservation : Kozhikode, Jan 27: A short-term course on ‘energy and environmental conservation for sustainable development’, began at the Govt Engineering College, West Hill, the other day.
The programme, sponsored by the State Directorate of Technical Education, would conclude on February 5. Energy Management Centre director M. G. Rajagopal inaugurated the course. Pollution Control Board engineer K. K. Abdul Rahiman, Prof V. K. Sasikumar, College Principal Prof Rani Thomas, Prof K. E. George and Energy Conservation Samithi president P. Sivashankaran spoke during the inauguration function.
