An evening dedicated to Babukka’s memory at the Town Hall in Kozhikode marked the love and excitement to the maestro of Malayalam film music.
M.S. BabuRaj, the name itself stands for Calicut’s passion for film music and romantic melodies.
When the evergreen songs of the legendary composer M.S. BabuRaj were rendered by Calicut’s notable singers, it was another wonderful annual tribute to him. His family members, friends, admirers and the fans of old Malayalam hits made M.S.BabuRaj’s 33rd death anniversary, a touching evening at the Town Hall in Kozhikode.
The film song ‘Thamasamenthe Varuvan’, sung by Sunil Kumar was the first one to fill the emotive heart of Malayalam song lovers. A packed Ttown Hall showed the love and excitement that their heart feels for their favorite composer ‘Babukka’.

Babukka’s granddaughter Nimisha Salim rendered her favorite songs and paid tribute to her grandfather. Nimisha is the ninth standard student of Airport High School,Karipur Kozhikode.
