Change in MCom Examination schedules
The School of Distance Education (SDE) of the Calicut University has postponed the MCom examinations for students (admitted in 2004) registered directly or through recognised agencies.
First semester MCom examinations for SDE students which was scheduled for September 2 has been postponed to September 22. The second semester MCom examinations scheduled for August 19 has been postponed to August 31.
Printing Technology course in Vatakara
Applications have been invited for the Printing Technology and advanced certificate courses such as Pre-Press Operation and Press Operations (modern offset technology) conducted by the Calicut University.
Those who have passed SSLC can join the courses. Applications forms are available on payment of Rs 50 from the Local co-ordinator, Centre for Printing Technology, Stand View shopping complex, Vatakara.
LLB / LLM examinations
The last date to apply for the second semester LLB (three year and five year) examinations and first and second year LLM examinations is August 22. The examinations will begin on September 6.
New PVC for Calicut University
C. Gopinathan Pillai has been appointed Prof-Vice-Chancellor of the Calicut University. Gopinathan Pillai was the principal of the NSS Hindu College, Changanassery, prior to his appointment at the university.
The fourth semester examinations of BTech (regular and part-time) will begin on August 23 and sixth semester examinations will begin on August 24.
The last date to apply for the third semester MCJ examinations of the Calicut University is August 25. The examinations will begin on September 6.
The Calicut University has published the results of first, third and fourth semester MSc Bio-technology. Students can apply until August 29 for revaluation, scrutiny or a copy of the answer paper.
BTech machine design
The seventh semester BTech (new scheme) PTME 2K.704 machine design and drawing examination which was scheduled for August 18 along with sixth semester BTech ME 2K.605 examinations has been postponed to September 5. Time of examinations (9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.).
